Nothin like a case of the Mondays ;]

The day started off at central interviewing Brooks.  He was a very nice gentleman that told us about purchasing.  It was amazing to hear how much is in the warehouse, definitely wouldn't want that to catch on fire.  He keeps a very tight ship and has six guys that help him pull orders and organize the place.  The picture above is the MASSIVE fridge and below is the very large and brisk freezer.  That is one place I would not want to work.  Samantha either....clearly.

The next part of our day included planning our menu for our special event, which is coming along very nicely.  I hope we can pull off everything we are going for.  It should be awesome.  We then were involved in a Sara Lee dessert and sausage link tasting.  Tough job.....

After the dessert tasting we spent the rest of the day with Wayne from catering.  We learned the ins and outs of the job and how to make it run successfully.  When he came four years ago it was he and Jeanne's goal to make the catering department a lot bigger.  They now operate a million dollar business.  It has an elaborate menu and is very well organized.  We observed the freshmen orientation dinner, all of the workers seemed to have every last thing down to a science.  It was enjoyable to watch them!
